Personal data processing policy

1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Reviews: name, rating and comment. The name and comment are published on the site after review.

Contact and PQR: name, email or phone, country (optional) and the message you write to us.

Visit and “Book” click statistics: we store the page visited, the language, the date and, if you arrived from another site, only that site's domain. We do not store IP addresses, cookies or personal identifiers, so they cannot identify you. They are kept for a maximum of 400 days. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not recorded. If we enable third-party analytics tools in the future, we will state it here.

3. What we use your data for

To answer your inquiries and requests, handle requests, complaints and claims, review and publish reviews, and improve our service. We do not sell or transfer your data.

4. Your rights

As a data subject you can know, update and correct your data; request proof of your authorization; be informed about how we use it; file complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce; revoke the authorization or request deletion of your data; and access it free of charge.

5. How to exercise your rights

Write to us on WhatsApp or through the contact form. We answer inquiries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012.

6. Third-party services

We host the site and its database with DigitalOcean, on servers located in the United States. Your data is therefore transferred to that country, where the provider applies its own security and confidentiality measures. Our daily backups are stored encrypted in a cloud storage service, and the provider also keeps weekly backups of the whole server. Notices of new messages and our email replies are sent from the business's Gmail account (Google), where they are stored.

The map of each tourist site is loaded by OpenStreetMap, which receives the IP address and browser data of the visitor.

If you choose "Continue on WhatsApp", your data is sent to WhatsApp at your own decision and is subject to its terms.

7. Retention and security

We keep your data only as long as necessary: contact messages and complaints, up to 2 years after we receive them; published reviews, while they remain published; unpublished reviews, up to 6 months; anonymous statistics, up to 400 days; and backups, up to 30 days (the provider's, up to 4 weeks). After those periods the data is deleted automatically. We apply reasonable measures to protect it: encrypted connection (HTTPS), panel access only for password-protected administrators, and encrypted backups.

8. Minors

This site is not aimed at minors. Minors' data is only processed with the authorization of their legal representatives.

9. Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the version shown above and publish the new text on this page.
